THE DETAILS Led by Creative Director Aï Kato, the redesign introduces a taller, slimmer bottle with a domed base and basalt-textured cap inspired by Melbourne bluestone, while maintaining Aesop’s established minimalist design language. The packaging has been developed to integrate more closely with the brand’s retail environment and will extend across its fragrance portfolio. The redesign coincides with the launch of Unforseen Aer, a new woody and mineral fragrance featuring petitgrain, eucalyptus and geranium.
THE WHY? The redesign demonstrates how Aesop is evolving its fragrance proposition while protecting the distinctive brand and retail identity that underpins its luxury positioning, using packaging, product and store design as a cohesive platform for category growth.
