Nestlé Sells Mainstream Vitamin Brands to Yellow Wood Partners for US$1 Billion
THE WHAT? Nestlé has agreed to sell its mainstream vitamins, minerals and supplements business to private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners for US$1 billion as it continues to streamline its portfolio and concentrate investment on higher-priority businesses.

THE DETAILS The transaction includes Nature’s Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Ester-C, Gard, Nuun, Puritan’s Pride and Sisu, alongside Nestlé’s US private-label supplements business. Together, the businesses generated US$1.2 billion in sales in 2025. Nestlé will retain premium supplement brand Solgar. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, with Yellow Wood planning to operate the acquired portfolio as a standalone business.
THE WHY? The divestment advances CEO Philipp Navratil’s strategy of concentrating Nestlé’s resources on businesses where it sees the strongest competitive advantage, while giving Yellow Wood another sizeable consumer health platform following previous acquisitions including ChapStick and Elida Beauty.
